USTA North Carolina Youth Equipment Grant
This grant is available to the following approved tennis providers and organizations that are offering youth programming using the ROGY progression where the following scaled-down components are combined -- court size, net height, appropriate ball, appropriately sized racquets for each age, and scoring format.

- NJTLs
- Jr. Team Tennis Programs
- Local League Coordinators
- Tournament Directors offering Red, Orange, or Green events
- Clubs
- Parks and Recreation Departments
- Schools/School Partners
- After School Programs
- Middle School Coaches on Net Generation
- High School Coaches on Net Generation
How it Works
- Purchase approved youth tennis equipment and teaching aids from vendors of your own choosing.
- Fill out the grant form and attach the receipts/proofs of purchase.
- USTA-NC will reimburse 50% of the total cost (including shipping). Max grant award per program is $500.00.
- A provider may submit multiple grant applications for different programs and is eligible to receive up to $1000 per calendar year.
Qualification/Stipulations
- MUST be a USTA Member Organization (USTA Organizational Memberships are free and can be obtained here).
- Must have communication with Junior Team Tennis Local League Coordinator and/or a Community Tennis Association where applicable.
- Junior Team Tennis Sites must have at least one team with a minimum of 3 players registered on TennisLink at the time of grant application.
- Schools must have an approved and signed Net Generation School Partner Agreement
- Grant recipients will need to fill out an Accountability Form at the conclusion of their event or program.
