The JL Stacks NJTL Endowment Fund was established in partnership with Jean Stacks Harrold in memory of her late husband, JL Stacks. The endowment will fund NJTL Chapter growth initiatives to create stronger community impact and make tennis and education more accessible to NC youth.
Applicants must be currently enrolled as a National Junior Tennis & Learning (NJTL) Chapter through the USTA Foundation NJTL Network in North Carolina.
Examples of qualifying initiatives and projects to be considered include but are not limited to:
- Equipment (Hardware) - Laptops, Chromebooks, Robotics, calculators, PC’s, whiteboards, pointers
- Classroom resources - Desks, chairs, bookshelves, Chalk boards, print workbooks & other educational publications
- Community matched resources to fundraise to address operational challenges
- Technical (software) - Educational program platform licenses (seats), online training for educators, eLearning programs, eBooks
- Transportation resources/Transportation costs - Assistance in transporting youth to tournaments, camps, special events, clinics
*Every NJTL is unique. Each NJTL has specific organizational challenges. An NJTL Chapter need can arise at any time across the span of a year. The NC Tennis Foundation plans to offer this grant in the Spring and Fall.
