2022 NC NJTL Summer Camp

APPLICATION DEADLINE: MONDAY, JULY 18, 12P ET

The NC Tennis Foundation and the Greensboro Tennis Program Foundation (GTP Foundation) NJTL invite your NC NJTL Chapter to attend a FREE 1-day camp at Spencer Love Tennis Center in Greensboro, NC. NJTL youth (all skill levels), coaches, volunteers, and adminstrators are welcome to participate, although all must be pre-registered.

Youth will receive 90-minutes on-court tennis clinic and 2-3 hours on-court match play with ample time to rest and hydrate. NJTL coaches and volunteers will be given the opportunity to participate in a coach's clinic provided by the GTP Foundation NJTL as well as the opportunity to participate in a roundtable discussion with other NJTL leaders across NC to address topics such as fundraising, academic programming, and board engagement. All participants will be served lunch, provided by the NC Tennis Foundation. Youth will also have access to water and snacks throughout the day. Carpooling is encouraged. A travel stipend will be offered to each program. Here is the travel stipend amounts:

If the program's home location is 25-100 miles from Spencer Love, the travel stipend is $100 total.

If the program's home location is 101-150 miles from Spencer Love, the travel stipend is $200 total.

If the program's home location is 151-200 miles from Spencer Love, the travel stipend is $300 total.

If the program's home location is 201-250 miles from Spencer Love, the travel stipend is $400 total.

If the program's home location is more than 250 miles from Spencer Love, the travel stipend is $500 total.

It is our desire for your youth to spend this day receiving quality tennis instruction, fun & competitive match play, and be introduced to other NC NJTL youth. In the case of NJTL coaches, administrators, and volunteers, it is our intent to provide the opportunity to sharpen on-court practice skills, teach volunteers on court drills, and to allow NJTL leaders to network and share information that will enhance their NJTL Chapters.

I hereby expressly acknowledge that, by allowing registrant as a participant in the 2022 NC NJTL Camp on Saturday, July 23, the NC Tennis Foundation, Greensboro Tennis Program Foundation, and the host facility and their agents, employees, officers, directors and other representatives are not assuming any responsibility of any kind. In consideration of the acceptance of registrant’s participation in the Camp, I do hereby on behalf of myself and my heirs and legal representatives release and forever discharge the North Carolina Tennis Foundation, Greensboro Tennis Program Foundation, and the host facility and their agents, employees, officers, directors and other representatives, successors and assigns from any and all claims or damages, losses or injuries arising out of or relating to registrant’s participation in the Camp. All such claims, whether known or unknown, are hereby waived and released and I covenant not to sue thereon.

I further give consent to the North Carolina Tennis Foundation and Greensboro Tennis Program Foundation for the use of any image and/or likeness in any photograph taken during or in connection with the Camp, for promotion, commercial or any other purpose. I consent to all such uses without any further compensation or other consideration becoming due. As this consent will be acted upon forthwith, it is irrevocable.
